Sprigeo is the result of twenty years of education experience and 3000 hours of software design. Sprigeo functions as an online reporting system that allows students, teachers and parents to report incidents anonymously. One of the main challenges we needed to overcome was creating a form that would allow students to report true claims and deter false reporting. Throughout our pilot program we worked closely with schools (administrators and students) to create a form that asked a sufficient number of detail-related questions to discourage false reporting. School administrators who use Sprigeo now report that over 95% of all incidents reported through the Sprigeo site are true safety-related incidents.
